Supporting Ethical Research

Ramsay Sime Darby Health Care is proud to support and promote the continued advancement of medical science through ethical research. Our clinical care operates at the cutting-edge of medical innovation, and we actively encourage an environment for on-going investigation and deeper understanding of medical practice to further inspire clinical excellence. Key to our ethical research is the cornerstone to our continued innovation.

Ethical research is research that:

  • Upholds the core ethical principles of respect for persons, beneficence and justice
  • Protects rights, safety and the well-being of human subjects
  • Is compliant with all applicable statutory regulations and guidelines

  • Includes an informed consent process
  • Respects community considerations
